About Beth

Regulatory Compliance from an attorney who provided privacy guidance before it became a common practice.

Extensive experience in privacy and AI regulatory law, ethical governance, and privacy program implementation.

Beth has extensive experience providing privacy guidance and assisting with privacy program implementation. She started her privacy career advising health clients on health privacy related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Later, she acted as a consultant to several federal health and research agencies, developing program strategies and helping to implement their privacy, research, and information security programs.

Working as in-house counsel at a large technology company, she established and helped implement company policies, procedures, and practices, and provided privacy and AI guidance to the company’s internal corporate teams, including human resources, marketing, group health plan, and procurement. She also reviewed and gave guidance to the company’s external-facing client and customer teams.

As the company developed AI, she participated as privacy counsel in the review of AI products and provided feedback on AI governance. Her role as privacy counsel required knowing well-established EU, federal, and state privacy laws and maintaining updated knowledge of the constantly evolving privacy and AI regulatory and governance laws.
